Not being a member of Facebook (where I gather new updates are being posted) can anyone confirm that car parking is provided on the Jever airbase, with shuttle buses to the Spotters Day? I saw reference to this on another site.
I am aware that there is centralised car parking some 500m from Wittmundhaven but the Jever option sounds more 'attractive'!

That appears to be for the Saturday rather than the Friday, which is the Spotters' Day event. The Spotters' Day part of the site shows the location as being just to the west of the airfield.

According to scramble on the web no Phantoms will be flying wed, thurs or friday!!!

This is the info posted on scramble:

Based on info available now;
- NO F-4F flights on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
- arrival of visitors on Thursday and Friday morning
- NO flights at all on Friday afternoon

Weather looks to be rain and wind wed and thurs and heavy rain friday.

Current TAF shows 60% chance of showers on the Friday, with wind out of the SW at 22kph, temp' +13C; improving as the day progresses.
The biggest disappointment is no flying!!
Noted the car parking situation, thanks 'Irish251', thought as much.
