Is there still an airworthy Mosquito in the UK?
Re: look what we are missing
It's a bit **** if the country that these aircraft were produced and mostly flew in under the primary air force cannot find air worthy examples of some of the most widely mass produced planes on the planet at that time.

AWESOME clip of the Mosquito, Hurricans, Spitfire & Lancaster. I am not a fan of WW2 aircraft, but to see and hear merlin engines, + the clip brought a tear to my eye.
. Worth another look.

What i am saying is, it would be nice if we had a lot more of the rarer types rather than "upteen" of one (Spitfire obviously).
A nice Lancaster, Mosquito, Spitfire, Hurricane foursome would be lovely.... but as you said, we either sell them abroad or unfortunately have accidents.
Fair play someone "rich" has to fund it, plenty of those people around who can't find much to spend their money on because they have everything already.
Why not have a Wellington, Stirling etc? They should have been kept airworthy throughout from the 50's right up until now. Other countries have a varied WW2 collection flying. What do we have? Numerous same types.
