I work in an office in Fulwood and would've done anything to see that beauty today!

What time did she come in, as I left a 4:15pm?

Flew an approach at Blackpool after this.
Certainly set a few car alarms off!

Wow, to think both of us was at the "controls" of ZA148 only last saturday at the RIAT! Thanks to the crew who showed us around this old bird, they were a credit to the RAF, good bunch of lads. ZA148 first flew in 1962 with East African airlines before the RAF bought it and others and converted them into tankers in 1984/85. Sadly heading for the scrapman in september. I believe some of the crews are converting to C-17's so good luck to them. :thumb:

That's the same one that gave us a nice loud flypast at Hurn on Tuesday.

Was lovely to see a VC-10 flying one last time. :thumb:
