Thank you for all the comments!
Regarding the location it has taken me years to bond with the farmer and get him to allow us access to the location! Unfortunately the refuellers are a bit hit and miss regarding there attitudes, some dont mind us being there and some will shout abuse at us :@ i am in the process of talking to the main security and head of the barracks at the moment to build bridges as i am getting conflicting messages about what we can and can not do regarding togging the rotaries. Hopefully after a positive telephone call with the head of camp on monday he did not see an issue with us togging the rotaries as they are not special ops

Lovely stuff mate. :thumb:

I also live in stafford and get most of the visiting helos over my house as they seem to use the south east for approach and again for departure. Some nice traffic drops in from time to time. Love to see some more once you get the access sorted.

I am Ex TSW Cadre 90-94 and way before they had posh concrete helicopter pads. How times have changed, for the better I might add.

We used to get watched by the Ops team at the top of the fie escape stairs. One Sgt we used to refer to as "Coco the Clown".

Most of the works are down to W/O Bob McBey now retired. The man is a legend.

Ok my advice is write to O/C Tactical Supply Wing at the barracks. And i would suggest a copy of your passport and a up to date photo. This way you cover everything.I am not sure who the present O/C is.

Nice to see my old haunt.

Nice photos

Went in there a couple of times myself, in a Puma; and probably the best time, at night in a 352nd MH-53 :thumb:
