Large prop just climbing away up over helston. Turned on the box,but nothing heard yet. Live log has Ascot 221 ZH874.
Anyone able to confirm if this is what just went OTT?

Yep it was ZH874(heard Ascot 221 on radio), did a simulated para-drop in night vision conditions over the runway, was brilliant to watch. Credit to some of the Dartmoor watchers for the info 
Edit: Absolutely dreadful pic, but just for reference (pitch black and handheld
) here is the C-130 - can't really mistake the lights for anything else in CU

No, I didn't catch that, I was over at the village hall car park at the time and didn't have London Mil in my scanner as I currently have it set for CU freqs (only done the first bank so far ) And, no problem
