Popping down after work later, should be there about 18:00 local so fingers crossed for a B2 arrival around then.

May I ask a question? Why is it they have so many aircrews and three b-52s yet only two launch per day?
Why can't they launch all three??
Thanks again

I believe the third jet is an air-spare.

Mike is it the same jet each day not flying or are they rotating the airframes?

All jets have now flown, had you bothered to read the threads regarding the B2/B52 deployment you would've known that.

One page mate all info is in here, the clue is in the title "movements thread" updated this morning.

There wouldn't be 33 pages if lazy people didn't keep asking the same questions or not even bothering to do a quick search prior to posting.

Although I appreciate it can be frustrating seeing the same questions pop up repeatedly without searching/looking. Perhaps the best action was to point Paulo towards the movements thread. Surely we're all here to help eachother out?

Mike, that's why we are all here to help each other, however if he took time and looked at the the forum he would've seen the movements thread, it was the one below the one he was on.

What is the point in having different sections and threads all correctly titled if people aren't going to look for them, may as well have one massive open thread for everything. Thankfully most on here can think for themselves.

I agree it was better back then. People helped themselves out rather than be lazy and expect others to do it for them(not directed at Paulo but at everyone over the last week that repeatedly ask the same questions over and over and over)

Yes totally agree with helping new members, however the people I'm referring to are seasoned members (one has been a member for 5 years and over 1000 posts)

Anyway back on track

Reported elsewhere (MSF) that no B-52s are flying on Thursday. And a 20 hour B2 mission would bring them back around 1PM local tomorrow.

No idea how accurate either report is - so don't shoot the messenger - but NOTAM's may not be posted till late morning Thursday.

Fairford NOTAMs for the past few days have been up around 7.30am or a tad earlier, may be a time to keep an eye out if they follow a similar pattern.
