army/navy 4x4's

My guess would be wally there Armed forces personal of some sort being transported somewhere in large 4x4 trucks nothing to unusual about that really... summer camp for cadets? Maybe they were on there way out to preddannck to use the firing range? ?
Either that or its an invading force moving inland, and big brothers not telling us! !!

Hi all,
Just to let you all know that 'MT' in Royal Naval parlance refers to 'Motor Transport' - in the 'old days' it would refer to the old style British Leyland Sherpas (around 1985 - I personally have experienced this, so I know! - they were extremely uncomfortable and shaky vans with a row of continuous seats on either side, and for the most part, similar to the feel of a Land Rover!) and in the 'very' old days (i.e. the 1960's), it would be a navy blue Bedford van with 'ROYAL NAVY' in white, written across it!! --Paul
