Would this be the "Shifty 41" and "Jungle" I'm seeing on Flight Radar ?

They passed direct over my garden, Graham. In a rather convenient break in the clouds.

All depends on what the pilot can be bothered to enter into the transponder.. hence callsigns on PP and FR24 that often do not match up with the real radio callsigns ;)

Heard it, couldn't spot it this time, direct above again, too much cloud though. By the way at the very same time as the first F-15/ tanker pass, an Alpha Jet went through CU, did you manage to ID that, Graham? A mate in Falmouth is asking.

Hi Graham,
What a lovely set of pictures mate! - you caught them just right.
After a rather cloudy and breezy day here today - we heard a lot of helo and a/c, jet activity during the day but didn't see one of them - really bad luck.
We heard some heavy jet activity late in the day, (perhaps these were the ones concerned!) - although again too cloudy to see anything! --Paul

Hi Graham,
Many thanks - Good picture too! - people either hate or love squirrels - here, we love them! - we have the occasional one in the garden jumping around in the trees.
Yours was obviously a 'spotter' squirrel on the lookout for the non-existent Sea King that he had just heard passing over above the stratus overcast! --Paul!! :O
