Canon 7D or 7D Mkii

Post by benfield5697 » Sun Jan 18, 2015 6:09 pm

Hello everyone ,

Hope all is well, just a quick question that I need some advice on please!

Currently own a 600D with the Bigma 150-500 Lens, however I am thinking about purchasing an upgrade ! The 7D mk ii is out, is it worth the extra spend over the original? The new upgrade would mainly be used for air shows or wildlife, with the 600D being used for static shots! Currently with the RAF on detachment in a certain place where I can get the 7D mkii a good £400 cheaper which has made me consider the new toy!

Thank you in advance,

Sam

If you can get £400 off it then its a no brainer TBH. The 7D2 is better in every respect (except price) than the 7D classic.

Just for info, I notice the mainstream price for the 7D2 has just dropped £100 to around £1499.
I ordered mine, plus I recently bought the 100-400 Mk2, and will be looking forward to my £250 cashback with the latest Canon offer

Bear in mind that these are imported and do not have the VAT paid on them. If customs picks them up (which often happens), you will probably end up paying more than if you bought it in the UK. Try HDEW here http://www.hdewcameras.co.uk/ They have in stock with delivery within a couple of days at £1199 and no risk of customs picking up your parcel and charging you the VAT, import duty etc!

Mike Customs is already paid for by Panamoz, it arrives at the UK depot and then sent by Royal Mail, IF you end up with import tax they will pay it back.

** We will pay for all import and customs charges, under all circumstances. There will be no additional charges. **

2. Are there any hidden charges?

Not at all. Our prices are all inclusive. What you see is what you get. You will not be charged any credit card or PayPal processing fees. In addition, all import and customs charges will be covered by us fully, and will be billed to our shipping account directly. You will not be billed.

Also 3 year UK warranty is covered by http://www.hlehmann.co.uk/

I have got several lenses and bodies from panamoz with no hassle. My stuff was sent straight from Hong Kong via UPS and only took 2 days to arrive. I would highly recommend them and also a company called digitalboy.co.uk excellent service also
