They only seem to divert in when no-one's monitoring HF. Quick, everyone stop monitoring HF!

I watched this fly over my house this morning at 0645 making it's final left hand turn to line up with 29. It was the noise that woke me!!..it's the first B1 i've seen in my neck of the woods. Is it here for the RIAT display??

There's no B-1 due for RIAT, so I assume it's a divert due to no available tankers or tankers going tech.

Its tanker had problems so it had to pop into the hall, what a shame

Hopefully it will go out on 29 as it will come straight over my house

I think the AR was successful but it must have developed problems afterward. It landed here a full 3-4 hrs after the Quids rtb'd so it could well be something else.

Quite hours are 6pm/9am at weekends so might not need a waiver between those hours.Thought he might have needed on Saturday morning to get in tho.

Didnt turn early Shaun - my Dad saw him loud and FAST over our house (although quite high).

Me and Phill had left for DX about 10 minutes earlier. :grr:

When I say turned of early I meant it turned before it got to my house they usualy go straight over, I could see it whent straight over your way. But as I live nearer the centre of ely it avoided my house.

I must learn to wright what I mean
