Griffin Emergency Landing and Fire Snowdonia

Seeing reports on social media of a helicopter crash in Snowdonia on a high peak around Snowdon. Some are saying military but not confirmed.

Some people are also posting a fake picture of a crash of a civvy aircraft in Texas last year. Trolls I guess. :(

BBC states 4 persons on board, no type mentioned, all crew safe.

Reported to be a Griffin, made a precautionary landing, crew got out to safety before it caught alight

Latest on BBC News is that it's a Griffin which made a landing on a peak as a preacution and then caught fire. Everyone safe. :thumbs:

Almost certainly a SARTU Griff from Valley you would think....
