Thought i would chance getting up early to shoot over Lakenheath to try and catch my first sightings of raptors. Well worth getting up for.

I've just realised that you can see the tail of a decked Raptor in shot 3. :)

It was definitely worth getting up for. rumours around the viewing area is they are leaving at 11 tomorrow morning,

cheers gummy as far as i'm aware the 4th raptor was out of service since it arrived so yesterday was a test flight ready for departure today

They are still very much there !! Weather and tanker problems by all accounts have delayed them by 24hrs at least, I was there from 0630 - 1200.
