Can't give you the ID's...but the blue and yellow by-planes sound like PT17 Stearman in the old US Army Airforce colour scheme.

Hope someone on here can ID them for you...over to you guys.

Pitts Specials of the Trig Aerobatic Team ; G-IIIP and PIII plus one other possibly G-TIII ?

I think these were the three for the Amy Johnson Flypast for the unveiling of a statue on Hawthorne Avenue , quote:- The unveiling ceremony was closed with a fly-past of three bi-planes, including one which flew Amy's exact route from Australia to Britain.
