Parking at RAF Shawbury

Has the Station Commander at RAF Shawbury ever been approached to provide parking for the spotters and charge £10.00 to be donated to the Station Charities this as a one off only when The Cosford Airshow is taking place. The spotters could park in the
visitors car park and be bussed in to a secure area rather than block all the highways and byeways with inconsiderate parking.

Bit like charging a few quid for everyone to bag all the new choppers one weekend.

Save all these repeat visits for one or two new ones!!

I'm still surprised they use Shawbury with so little staff around
when Brize is 24/7. Transit times are not that outrageous.

I think it'll be more to do with getting the crews back to Cosford before or after their slot for meet and greet type events.
