Re: Zvezda 1/144 TU 160 'Blackjack'

Post by Flyingmonster » Wed Oct 13, 2010 12:00 pm

Just a quick update.... I have just bought a book about the TU160 on Amazon for reference. I can honestly say that I like the TU160 a lot now since I took on this build! Some good footage on YouTube etc that just shows what a majestic aircraft it is!! Back to the build I have started to get gear together and am looking at Armament options. The tail is coming along as it the main Fuselage :thumb: Pics to follow I am at work
Cheers

Re: Grumman TBF Avenger

Post by daz greenwood » Wed Oct 13, 2010 11:55 pm

Right with other projects drying, and nearing completion, and with SWMBO sleeping, I decided to do a bit more to the Avenger.

So here's how it looks at the moment some tidying up to be done tomorrow.

And then it should be ready for decalling.

I'm not going with the Yellow cowling on this one, as I see so many with Yellow cowlings, that I'm actually sick of seeing em.

Cheers fella's

Here's another quick update, I have got a fair bit done over the last few evenings, the interior is now all painted and assembled.
Even though most of this can't be seen when finnished, I real enjoyed painting, building and putting a little wear and tear on the interior!

Fuselage sections painted.

It may not look right, but they were like that! Wonder if they could do that to an F-16...
