Re: Zvezda 1/144 TU 160 'Blackjack'
Just a quick update.... I have just bought a book about the TU160 on Amazon for reference. I can honestly say that I like the TU160 a lot now since I took on this build! Some good footage on YouTube etc that just shows what a majestic aircraft it is!! Back to the build I have started to get gear together and am looking at Armament options. The tail is coming along as it the main Fuselage
Pics to follow I am at work

Cheers

Re: Grumman TBF Avenger
Right with other projects drying, and nearing completion, and with SWMBO sleeping, I decided to do a bit more to the Avenger.
So here's how it looks at the moment some tidying up to be done tomorrow.
And then it should be ready for decalling.
I'm not going with the Yellow cowling on this one, as I see so many with Yellow cowlings, that I'm actually sick of seeing em.

Re: Zvezda 1/144 TU 160 'Blackjack'
Just found a different scheme for my TU160

What do you think? I quite like it
On a different point I have just been told my a friend that the TU160 is also known as 'The White Swan of Russia'
A bit different

Re: Zvezda 1/144 TU 160 'Blackjack'
Quick update

Surprisingly there is only been a few areas requiring filler

The engines/Intakes still need a wee bit of weathering and heavy usage look to come

Quick Dry fit...

Thats all folks! Comments welcome!

Cheers fella's
Here's another quick update, I have got a fair bit done over the last few evenings, the interior is now all painted and assembled.
Even though most of this can't be seen when finnished, I real enjoyed painting, building and putting a little wear and tear on the interior!
Fuselage sections painted.

Cockpit section all finnished

Radio Ops room completed

Completed Fuselage section

That's all for now folk's
Cheers
Stuart.

Re: Zvezda 1/144 TU 160 'Blackjack'
Some more progress guys
I have had to use a wee bit of filler on the section between the Fuselage and the Cabin.Couple more tiny areas on the underside need doing to

Tail made up and dry fitted. The 150 has a all moving tail above the Elevators

Here she is at the moment...

With the main source of pictures and info
Can Highly recomment this book!

Just cracking on with her now!

Re: Revell F-86D Sabre Dog 1:48
Looking good! Personally I'd go for the 85thFS, that massive shark mouth just doesnt look right to me

Re: Revell F-86D Sabre Dog 1:48
It may not look right, but they were like that! Wonder if they could do that to an F-16...
